The business network will host four events per football season and will kick off with an official launch event on 1st of December, at which members of the business community will hear Cardiff City FC’s manager, Malky Mackay share his experiences and his ambitions for Cardiff City.

The business club is an additional feature for existing Cardiff City’s Premier Club members, providing more opportunities to network with other businesses and extend hospitality to their network of clients and contacts.

Nic Heslop, commercial executive at Cardiff City FC, who is spearheading the new venture, said: “We have an expanding corporate membership that includes some of Wales’ most prominent companies. We want to offer our members further value and strengthen the link between them and the wider business community.

“Our main aim is to galvanise relationships with members, to build new business relationships and provide a unique environment for companies to network with one another, thereby developing their client bases. I am confident that Network Cardiff will improve what is already the biggest sporting corporate family in Wales.”

Steve Sulley, marketing partner at key sponsor UHY Peacheys said: “It is great to play a significant role in launching this club. Through our sponsorship of the M4 Business Network, which has become a staple in the calendar for companies along the M4 corridor, we organise high profile events and attract top speakers. Cardiff is a great place to do business and we hope to help boost the local economy further through Network Cardiff.”

The first event will be held on 1st December at 2011 at Cardiff City Stadium from 4pm-6pm
