New Team member

Peacheys Chartered Accountants are delighted to have strengthened its Corporate Services Department with the appointment of Gareth Francis.  The Corporate Services Department is a specialist team which not only delivers statutory audits but also more specialist audit services such as, internal audits, Grant Claims and Pension Schemes.

Gareth, a keen golfer, qualified at Deloittes in Cardiff where he provided audit and assurance services to local SME clients as well as being seconded to work on more specialised audit assignments in London and Jersey.

In addition to extensive external audit experience Gareth has spent a number of years developing the provision of internal audit services, assisting clients develop and implement strategic plans to help mitigate the risk of fraud and error within their organisations.

Since leaving Deloittes Gareth has enjoyed working as a Senior Manager in practice focusing on delivering quality services as well as providing commercial advice and solutions to both large and small corporate clients within South Wales.  Much of Gareth’s time has been spent specialising in the Construction, Engineering, Insurance and Manufacturing sectors as well as professional practices including Solicitors.
